Services

Therapy

Designed to help you heal, grow and increase self-awareness. Therapy is needed when you want to feel better. The therapist creates a safe space free from pressure to perform that you have to deal with elsewhere – pressure that may lead you to feel anxious, stressed out or depressed. Therapy is intended to address deeper relational and trauma wounds, with a greaterfocus on what has happened in the past in order to better understand current circumstances and future direction. Therapy is often best for those currently experiencing more significant mental health symptoms, such as depression or anxiety.

Life Coaching

Designed to help you succeed and become more effective. Life coaching is needed when you want to do better. The life coach holds an encouraging space for goal setting and accountability through applying gentle pressure to encourage achieving those goals. Life coaching is ideal for people who are motivated for change and who have identified a specific focus or area of their life they wish to improve. Coaching is often more short term than therapy and prioritizes forward progress with focused, intentional and strategic action-based methods and solutions.

Rates

50 minute session- $150

While my standard rate is $150/session, I reserve a small number of slots at a reduced cost. Please contact me to explore that option prior to your appointment.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service and I accept checks, cash or any major credit cards.

Insurance

I do not accept insurance at this time. Many clients choose not to involve their insurance provider in their treatment. Some advantages:

  • No mental health disorder diagnosis label permanently attached to your health record, which could hinder you from obtaining life insurance, disability or future health insurance.
  • Protected records, meaning all information about you cannot be obtained by the insurance company.
  • The insurance company does not dictate your care, which allows for collaboration between my professional expertise and your personal goals.

Good Faith Estimate Notice:

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers must give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
